This place served as a fantastic home base for a quick two-night stay. The staff here are incredibly helpful and made the experience even better. The location is wonderful, conveniently situated near cafes and bars on the outskirts while also being close to the town center. 🌟

I've been stopping at this hotel on my way to Andalusia for years. Always excellent service, from staff like the one who provide the facilities. In summer especially; in a place of extreme climate like Merida the swimming pool and surrounding area of rest are appreciated. Good restaurant and good cafeteria service. rooms are good without being exceptional. little more space would be appreciated, well... they do. overall balance is very positive. It is 2 kms. away from the center. By car 5 minutes. center of Merida is splendid, better to visit. situation of the hotel is a haven of peace. good access from the motorway, to exit towards Caceres (5 minutes) and towards Seville (twelve minutes, more or less). Highly recommended.
There is nothing negative to highlight

To be noted: They have renovated rooms and facilities. The right swimming pool, to take a bath in summer is good. Wifi is pretty good. Very comfortable beds. Highlights: Rooms and facilities have been renovated. The right pool, to take a bath in summer is fine. Wifi pretty good. Very comfortable beds.
Negative points: It's far from the center, it's something I already knew when I made the reservation but if you don't have a car you have to walk on the road or book a taxi. The pool is the right size, but there are very few sunbeds and little space to put them. Renovated but badly soundproofed rooms. They do weddings on weekends, too many people and too much noise. Great location! It's just a short walk to the historical center, making it super convenient. The food here is excellent. The rooms are big and airy, and the prices are reasonable. The beds are comfy, and I had a good night's sleep 😊.

Quality and price are very good, clean and comfortable. But finding us at night the rooms without cleaning spoiled it.
When we came back at night, our room hadn't been cleaned, so we had to move all the stuff to another room. We had put up the cleaning sign around 1:00 p.m. It may be that because it was a holiday they didn't clean until late and they didn't look at it anymore but this is a guess because at the reception they didn't know how long they cleaned. In any case, if that day there were exceptional cleaning hours, at no time did they contact us to inform us, neither at the entrance, nor by phone when they saw the "do not disturb" sign. In any case, as it is a holiday, we know that the guest rooms do not leave early. . In two of the rooms the bathroom smelled a lot. Except for these two things, we were at ease, for a very reasonable price.

attention of the staff and pool, given the heat, was very well received although the reform that had been made to the pool and hotel in general, was very evident and therefore not very well executed or low-cost mode.
At the entrance of my room 343 if I remember correctly, there was humidity on the ceiling, evident reforms of the whole hotel that in the rooms were very visible, I do not say it for the fact that to make a reform is not something good, because I believe that it has been tried to do a little low-cost face washing and hotel has 4 stars and I expected more coming from a Barceló in my last stay with the same stars. worst was to find a towel very stained with something brown, ask them to change it for that reason and bring me one that is also somewhat stained, so I guess the laundry has some problem with their washing machines.

Nice rooms, great pool! Friendly staff with good English. Free parking! Great value for money
The hotel is a little far from the centre of town. We had a car so it was not a problem but it would be a little too far to walk to and from town after a days sightseeing!

Despite the building's older exterior appearance, the interior facilities are perfectly renovated and very tasteful. It is located near the motorway and in a quiet place as it is right at the entrance and exit of Merida
Once again, they make me see the lack of education and respect that certain people show day by day with respect to others. Almost at 2 a. m., after a long wait to see if the situation would change, we had to get up and leave the room in our pajamas to call attention to a group of adults with several children who were screaming in the hotel lobby while others were trying to rest. adults talking and laughing as if it were 12 o'clock in the morning and children screaming and jumping on the sofas. Surprisingly, there was a reception in front of the hall and nobody invited them to speak more quietly or to leave the place for the benefit of those of us who were sleeping. real shame that we have to be the guests who set limits to certain very uncivic attitudes. Funny was the moment when we communicated our discomfort at the reception in front of two workers and only one who paid attention to us was the one who was not attending us, I can think that the person who was charging us has a selective hearing capacity. On the other hand. breakfast is served from 8 to 11 in the morning, My family and I went down to breakfast at 10:40 and there was practically nothing left in terms of trays of sweets. nothing, not even an intention to replace what was missing, Gentlemen. if I'm going to pay 8 euros per person for that breakfast, I don't have the right to choose between everything that was there first thing in the morning, I repeat??? an embarrassment, I paid. nobody gave me anything,
